Nation's Hero

I just did some free-thinking and I wrote this poem to praise a particular man, hope you like this poem....

Nation’s True Hero

People knew him by the name,

The Army was his profession.

He never wanted all the fame,

He wanted India’s protection.

 

He was a gallant warrior,

He motivates me to do so.

For all those other warriors,

The speed of inspiration he sow.

 

He vowed to protect his nation,

His bravery will be saluted.

With his memories kept in our minds,

His legacy will be protected.

 

He kept on marching on his own,

To enemies he gave fear.

This is Captain Vikram Batra,

Who never shed a tear.

 

He sacrificed himself in the Kargil,

For his nation and not for award.

The lesson here, my friends, is,

That sacrificing for others is the greatest reward.
