S2 Ep 3 :Regrets
"I'd rather regret the things I have done than regret the things I haven't done"
- Lucille Ball
Regret has been something everyone has done. We had regrets for lots of things. Actually I think that the works are a long-term thing. So at the point in between the starting and ending (which is I don't know where) point, we made some decisions which makes us feel guilty for the rest of our lives. Have you ever heard of the multiverse theory. It states that if there are two or more choices, and if you make your one decision, then a universe where you take the second decision gets created. Your varied decisions will create many universe with varied consequences. For example, if there are two decisions given to you, one where you can give up food that has sugar and fat, and other where you can eat these choices of food, you choose the first option. With this another universe will be created where you take the latter option will be created. Here you may have grown fattier than before. The consequences may have been different due to this one event of time. The multiverse makes a whole new universe because one small decision you make. So we can come to the conclusion that whatever happens to us isn't an out of the blue accident, it happens like a domino effect (oh yeah, you're going to hear lots of effects today), once a small thing falls over something which bigger than it, it will fall on the other bigger thing and it will go on and on and on until the biggest thing possible will fall over you, all because you pushed one small piece of slab, or you must remember the quote 'What goes around, comes around'. So when a big accident happens to you, don't give excuses, because it's kind of your fault. Such as, you had some disease, since last two months you thought you might have felt feverish, but you didn't want to spend some money on someone who must've been an expert in this field and could have consulted you something about this (you know, a doctor!), and you think of it as just a gastric problem, and don't go to the doctor, later you pay the price by getting an excruciating pain in the stomach that makes you go to the doctor, then he tells you that problem could've been solved if you would've come sooner and later the sentence that comes out of your mouth is what? "Oh! Why didn't I come before?!". And there's that one decision that makes you regret your entire lifetime. So, you see, that this the repetitive cycle that happens again and again and again and you will be a sad, depressed person. Now most people confuse the term regret with failure. Failure comes with guilt and shame, it will never come with regrets. Failure starts with the fact that you put up so much and the the result wasn't as good as you expected. With failure, you think multiple ways you could do a work, and failure can be vanished once you don't make that mistake again, and a new mistake is better than that. But with regrets, you think about the multiple decisions that were available to you, but you took the wrong one, and regrets can never be mended, they are treads which separates a bond forever. But, you know, these decisions actually shape for who we are, regrets cannot be fixed, but they give us a whole new perspective about life and the way you live it. So in the end I think the right sentence should be "NO REGRETS".
So this is it, sorry I wasn't posting anything new since the last few days and it's difficult to write on the Schools episode, so I think it would take me some time to write something on it. Please follow my blog and write some comments in it and I'll see you next time with the Little Things In Life.
Bye!
Well written. Keep it up.
