S3 Ep 2 : Teachers Day

Teachers provide a raise 🙌 to their students, sacrificing their whole lives as a teacher by profession to create children who are doctors, artists, writers, and engineers by profession. Teachers discern and enlighten us to provide all of us with a better future. We've all had teachers who helped us a lot and we keep them in our hearts. And such a teacher for me was my 6th grade English Teacher. In COVID she helped tons in my English and I owe her a lot because she has helped me meet a lot of awards from competitions related to English. And that's why I owe this poem to her...

 

An Ode to the teacher, An Ode to the teacher,

An Ode to the one who rose me up from where I have stood.

The one who guided me out of the darkness, and into the light,

The one who believed in me, and helped me do so.

An Ode to the teacher, An Ode to the teacher,

An Ode to the one who knew my capabilities.

To the one who mended by shattered hopes and dreams,

The one who never lost hope in me

People come, go and say bye,

But such a teacher never really abides.

To such a teacher I give my utmost respect,

An Ode to the teacher, An Ode to the teacher.

 

Mam, if you're seeing this, I just want to say, thank you for helping me.
